PRIVACY POLICY
Otakustore.gr’s team is fully dedicated on personal information and data protection. Otakustore.gr will never reveal or sell customer personal data to third parties.
Personal details and consent
We collect only the most basic, required details for shipping and delivering orders made by the customers, like full name, company name (when the delivery address belongs to a company), physical address, postal code, area, city, phone numbers and email address for electronic receipt or online confirmation of the order.
The customer’s personal data is stored temporarily and securely on Otakustore.gr’s server and can be changed or deleted at any time by the customers themselves or by sending a request to info@otakustore.gr.
All the personal data we collect is directly accessible from the “Account Details & Past Orders” tab, after logging in to OtakuStore.gr using email and password credentials. Accessing this data is also possible without having or using a customer account, by sending a request to info@otakustore.gr.
OtakuStore.gr will never sell or reveal personal data such as full name, address, email, phone numbers or other personal information to any third party or entity without the customer’s permission and explicit consent.
Where we use personal data and why
Every order placed from the website or via telephone and is shipped by OtakuStore.gr, must be accompanied by a courier voucher that contains the customer’s personal data. This voucher is issued by Geniki Taxydromiki, OtakuStore.gr’s partner courier company that handles the shipping process and delivery of the order to the customer.
OtakuStore.gr uses this personal data (full name, company name when the address belongs to a company, physical address, postal code, area, city, phone numbers and email address) and transfers them to Geniki Taxydromiki for the sole purpose of delivering the order to the customer’s address.
In addition, OtakuStore.gr may contact the customer through phone, by using the phone numbers provided by the customer to confirm an order, resolve problems or solve delivery issues.
The customer’s personal data is not used for any other purpose without the customer’s explicit consent and permission. As a courier company, Geniki Taxydromiki complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Automated future availability updates via email
The customer or visitor can request to be automatically informed about a product’s availability in the future (for out of stock products) via email. To do so, the customer or visitor must provide an email address by using the “Get notified by email” option that can be found on the product’s web page.
By using this function and by providing an email, the customer or visitor gives full and explicit consent that they will be notified via the specified email at least once (1) in the future when the product becomes again available. Every customer or visitor who has participated in this feature, reserves the absolute right to remove the email address in question from these automated lists by sending a request to info@otakustore.gr.
Automated order shipping and delivery updates via SMS
The customer can request to be automatically informed about the order’s status (when it’s being shipped or when there are issues with delivery) via SMS to their specified mobile phone number. To do so, the customer must enable the “Send me order updates through SMS” option when completing their order.
By using this function, the customer gives full and explicit consent that they will be notified via SMS to the provided mobile phone number at least once (1). Every customer who has activated this option can deactivate it from the “Account Details & Past Orders” tab or by sending a request to info@otakustore.gr.
Communicating and promoting products or services by email (Newsletter)
With the customer’s explicit consent, OtakuStore.gr may occasionally send updates about the latest products, news, giveaways, events and special offers via email or Web-Push Notifications.
All visitors and customers of OtakuStore.gr have the option of deleting their address from the newsletter list by using the “unsubscribe from the list” link, which is always located at the bottom of each newsletter email or from the bottom of the website.
